Country music festival Ridin’ Hearts will return to Sydney and Melbourne for its second go-around this November. US country acts Riley Green and Cooper Alan will headline. The lineup also includes Canadian artists Josh Ross and MacKenzie Porter, locals Casey Barnes and Bella Mackenzie, and more. Tickets are on sale Tuesday 18 June. Details below.
Ridin’ Hearts is presented by Frontier Touring, who also co-present the annual CMC Rocks QLD. Compared to the more elaborate CMC Rocks, Ridin’ Hearts is a single day festival that features a smaller lineup of acts. Bailey Zimmerman and Danielle Bradbery headlined its 2023 debut.
Green will be here on the back of his new EP, Way Out Here, which landed in April. Porter released her second album, Nobody’s Born with a Broken Heart, at the end of April. Gold Coast-based Barnes’ new album, Mayday, debuted at #11 on this week’s ARIA Top 50 Albums chart.
The Sydney leg of Ridin’ Hearts will again take place at Sydney Showground, located in the Olympic Park precinct. The Melbourne leg moves from the Showgrounds to Caribbean Gardens in the city’s eastern suburbs. Caribbean Gardens relaunched as a major event site with last year’s Listen Out festival. It’ll host Listen Out again this year.
