Sydney alt-rock and nu metal outfit RedHook are taking their latest single, “Breaking Up With,” on tour around the country this August and September. The band, led by vocalist Emmy Mack, will be joined by support acts The Beautiful Monument, Eat Your Heart Out and Patient Sixty-Seven. Find all the details below.
RedHook have been omnipresent on the Australian live scene in recent years, appearing at festivals such as Good Things, Spilt Milk, Yours and Owls, Unify Off the Record, Froth & Fury and The World Is a Vampire, while also touring Europe and the UK. The “Breaking Up With” tour includes the band’s first local headline shows in nearly 18 months.
“We couldn’t be more excited to hit the road with this insanely good lineup (to be honest, I’m very excited for the ladies’ bathroom to be extra crowded on this tour) and hang with all our legendary fans, who are the entire reason we do what we do,” Mack said in a statement.
“Breaking Up With” was added to triple j rotation upon its release in April 2024. It’s set to appear alongside the band’s previous singles, “Scream 2” and “Tourist,” on a larger release, details of which are to be confirmed. RedHook’s debut album, Postcard From A Living Hell, came out in April 2023 and reached #10 on the ARIA albums chart.
