70 artists from Australia and New Zealand/Aotearoa are included in the first lineup announcement for BIGSOUND 2024. Established names such as Alex the Astronaut, dust, Dear Seattle, Sly Withers, Stand Atlantic and Gretta Ray will perform at the event, which is happening in Brisbane/Meanjin from Tuesday 3 to Thursday 5 September. Dozens of rising artists are on the lineup, including Naarm-based Italian hip hop and dance musician DoloRRes, indie rock outfit The Belair Lip Bombs, folk singer-songwriter Rowena Wise, indie R&B artist r.em.edy, soul and hip hop influenced composer Jerome Blazé, and more.

First Nations artists Maanyung, Ray Dimakarri Dixon and Kiwat Kennell are also on the lineup, while NO CIGAR, Dick Move, Paige, Park RD, Reiki Ruawai and DARTZ will make the trip across the Tasman for the event.

BIGSOUND’s 2024 lineup will continue to grow as the event draws near. More than 140 artists performed at BIGSOUND 2023, including Miss Kaninna, Gut Health, PRICIE, 1tbsp, REBEL YELL and POOKIE.

The music festival forms one half of the BIGSOUND program, with an industry conference taking place simultaneously. Amyl and the Sniffers’ Amy Taylor and US pop artist Kelis will deliver keynote speeches at this year’s conference.
